Do you want an Ad or do you want Advertising?


The perfect image and perfect words creatively placed together in a beautiful symphony that clearly articulates your product or company's message definitely is on every one's wish list, and if you are lucky enough to find that - it is something to be cherished. Although this is a sight to behold, having it in hand is still not advertising, it's just an ad.

Advertising is much more.

Advertising is print and digital, it is content and creative design, it is all the things we see and all the things we don't realize we see. A perfectly designed and executed advertising campaign can reach and influence the hearts and minds of millions. Just the perfect ad itself cannot.

Now I will grant you that you might need that beautiful ad as part of your advertising campaign. The right image and the right words written and/or spoken do make a difference. But don't forget about all of the other assets associated with the entire Advertising campaign. Don't only focus on the ad itself, there are many other aspects that require the same attention to build that perfect campaign.

Ask yourself, do you want an ad or do you want advertising?

Remember, half of a campaign isn't good enough - no matter how pretty the creative. After all, not taking enough medicine won't ever make you feel any better.
